Domestic Contracts
After parties separate, they need an Agreement or Court Order to deal with the issues of property, support obligations and decisions about children.
Marriage Contract
Marriage Contracts are often referred to as Pre-Nuptial Agreements. These contracts can deal with the issues that will arise if you separate, such as property issues. They are often necessary when there is a second marriage, or one party has a lot of assets or debts entering the marriage. They can be entered into by same sex couples or opposite sex couples.
Cohabitation Agreement
Cohabitation Agreements can be entered into by same sex parties or opposite sex parties who plan on residing together and want to deal with financial and support obligations in the event of separation. These agreements can be entered into prior to the parties residing together or at any time during the cohabitation but prior to a separation.
Separation Agreement
Separation Agreements can be entered into by same sex or opposite sex parties, who are married, or resided together, and have decided to separate. The Agreement can be entered into prior to the physical separation of the parties. The Agreement can deal with all financial issues, support, decision making for children, parenting time and other issues.
Domestic Contracts (Agreements) are charged at a flat rate of $ 1,850.00 plus h.s.t. on the premise that the parties have agreed on the basic terms of the Agreement and there is little, or no negotiation involved.
