Parenting Co-ordinator
A Parenting Co-ordinator is a third-party neutral that can assist parents with the interpretation and implementation of the terms contained in a Court Order or Separation Agreement.
A Parenting Co-ordinator is a part of the alternative dispute resolution process (A.D.R.). My role is to assist parents resolve day to day conflicts that may arise in respect to the parenting of children. The process is nonjudgmental, child focussed and designed to save parents the stress and high cost of continued litigation in Court.
A Parenting Co-ordinator does not determine the decision making or parenting time of your children, attend at Court, or file a report to be used by either parent at Court.
A Parenting Co-ordinator will meet both parents, together or individually, have telephone conferences, and on rare occasions, meet with the children.
A Parenting Co-ordinator is not changing your Court Order or Agreement, they are simply interpreting it. They also do not provide assessments.
My hourly rate for this service is $ 375.00 plus h.s.t. and is usually shared by the parties.
